An archaeologist seeks out hidden secrets in the Amazon, threatened by deforestation. His expedition reveals the distant past of ancient civilizations and the more recent history of the communities living there, showing how they lived without putting the forest at risk. However, he must also face his inner demons.

Guillermo F. Flórez, Spanish filmmaker and producer, has been making documentaries since 2007 in countries like Spain, Netherlands, France, India, Brazil, Indonesia, Cuba or USA. In the last few years he taught cinema in New York, filmed for media outlets in Africa, produced a feature documentary in South America, participated as expert for the European Commission, and worked as cinematographer and producer in several documentary series for online platforms.
