Tatiana Botovelo
Tatiana Botovelo, born in Troyes in 1993 of Madagascan parents, is a filmmaker based in Marseille. For a long time, she wondered how French cinema represented minorities. She felt the need to write and make films, to show other things, to tell different stories. To shed light on complexity, to give an account of feelings and individual trajectories. Her work is thus permeated by social and post-colonial issues, and questions the relationships of domination in contemporary French society.
